Bronx Theatre High School is a home away from home. Even though we are still contending with the impact of the pandemic, we are supporting our scholars through opportunities that will continue to ease readjustment and address our children’s academic needs. No child is at-risk. They are all at-promise!
We just ended a very challenging school year with much to celebrate. It was my first year as principal and I am happy to lead this school into a new era. We celebrated a 94% graduation rate. The highest in the school’s history! This school year, we will continue to make strides in addressing the social/emotional needs of our scholars. We will continue our partnership with Russell Sage College in order to give our scholars the opportunity to earn college credits while attending Bronx Theatre. We will expand on offering Advanced Placement courses and our college office have made a commitment to focus on career readiness skills and post-secondary preparedness. We will continue to create many student-led clubs which are aligned to the schools vision of leadership through the lens of equity.
We will accomplish this while doing our best to keep our scholars healthy and safe!
