Partnership with New Settlement (YAOI):

12th grade students are enrolled in the Life Readiness program which focuses on job readiness/vocational training, internships, and job placement. 11th grade students will participate in the summer program. Working closely with their advisor, each student will develop a designated individualized career plan that is reflective of their strengths and their interests. In addition, students will obtain CPR and First Aid certifications. The learning experience includes the following:

• Exploring Postsecondary Options

• Engaging in College and Career Readiness Courses and Experiences

• Building a Postsecondary List through 1:1 Support

• Finalizing Postsecondary List & Complete Applications through 1:1 support

• Making a Strong Match Postsecondary Decision through 1:1 Support

• Transitioning to Postsecondary Pathway through 1:1 Support
