In-School Dance Program

Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre is thrilled to launch a partnership with Bronx Theatre High School this Spring with an in-school dance program.

The program will run on 5 weekdays during the school day and will engage 9th-12th grade students in technique, improvisation, and choreography with a focus on dance foundations and culturally responsive content.

The dance program will culminate in performance for the greater school community. With an emphasis on skill building, social-emotional development, and student agency, this program will engage students physically while sparking joy and creative expression.

The program will include detailed curriculum outlines, 360-degree program evaluation, student assessment, planning meetings with classroom teachers, and video/photo documentation.
